Mélanie Thierry, (born July 17, 1981 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Yvelines) is a French actress best known to international audiences for her role as Aurora in the 2008 film Babylon A.D.

Mélanie Thierry began her ascent to fame as a sought-after child and teen model in France, then moved into acting. She began with a series of roles in French productions that failed to travel abroad and thus confined the actress' recognition to her native country. Not long after, however, the actress scored an international crossover hit at age 18 as the love interest of ship-bound Danny Boodman T.D. Lemon 1900 in The Legend of 1900. She also featured in two episodes of the popular BBC costume drama Charles II: The Power and The Passion where she played the kings french mistress Louise de Kérouaille opposite Rufus Sewell
She is also known as the barely clad girl in the music video for the Enigma song Sadeness (Part I).[1]
She made her Hollywood debut in the 2008 film Babylon A.D., as Aurora.[2]
